SWEET HARVEST FOODS is one of the country’s largest processors of 100% pure all-natural honey with operations in Minnesota, California and Michigan. SWEET HARVEST FOODS serves the world's best known food manufacturers, national retail and grocery chains and food distributors. NATURAL AMERICAN FOODS followed the acquisition of SWEET HARVEST FOODS in December 2016 with an announcement that it is adopting its company name.
We believe that the best honey retains the goodness of natural pollen, and we’re committed to keeping pollen in every batch of honey that we source and package. Some companies use high heat and aggressive filtration to remove the natural pollen. But organizations like the World Health Organization and the European Commission have ruled that without pollen in the honey, there’s no way to determine if it came from legitimate and safe sources. Supply chain integrity and transparency is of utmost importance to our customers, and it’s a top priority for SWEET HARVEST FOODS.
THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF FOOD SAFETY: We operate at the highest levels of food safety in the industry. Our facilities are BRC Global Standards certified, a stringent designation that ensures the standardization of quality and safety of our operations. In addition, we implement strict quality and testing programs at our facilities; we employ quality assurance coordinators; we perform raw lot testing; we perform on-site verification of our suppliers; and we perform geographical pollen and carbon SIRA testing.
SWEET HARVEST FOODS has created one of the strongest leadership teams in the industry by leveraging outstanding talent, acquired knowledge and proven management skills.
