Sweet Harvest Foods Sponsors 2026 Art Grant and Student Contest for Lakeville North High School
Company initiative funds arts education and deepens connections in Minnesota communities
CANNON FALLS, Minn. — April 2, 2026 — Sweet Harvest Foods, the largest producer of raw, unfiltered honey and parent company of Nate’s Honey and Nate’s Hives, hosted a recent art grant and student contest for Lakeville North High School. The initiative, which provides funding for the school’s art department, invited students to create original art works inspired by honey, beekeeping, hives and nature.
“At Sweet Harvest Foods, we’re proud to invest in the communities where we live and work,” said Michael Carle, CEO of Sweet Harvest Foods. “This grant supports the next generation of artists while celebrating the connection between agriculture and art. And it’s one more way we can give back to the Minnesota communities where our business thrives.”
Selected student art works will be featured in a public exhibition and join the permanent collection at Sweet Harvest Foods’ Lakeville facility, the largest honey manufacturing facility in the U.S.
Supporting local schools is part of Sweet Harvest Foods’ giving program. This marks the company’s second local art grant and contest. Sweet Harvest Foods previously collaborated with Cannon Falls High School to contribute to its art department and create a permanent display of student art works at the company’s Cannon Falls facility.
