Sweet Harvest Foods Donates More than 4,800 Pounds of Honey to Support Food Banks during Back-to-School Season

Donation helps stock pantry shelves with high-quality honey for local communities near Sweet Harvest Foods’ Facilities

Cannon Falls, MINN. – August 11, 2026 – Sweet Harvest Foods, the largest producer of raw, unfiltered honey and parent company of Nate’s Honey and Nate’s Hives, donated more than 4,800 pounds of honey to food banks located near its production facilities, providing high-quality honey to its local communities.

As the new school year approaches, many community organizations experience increased demand for food assistance. Sweet Harvest Foods is honored to partner with organizations that help families navigate this important time of year by providing honey to bring all-natural goodness and hope to their day. To support these efforts, Sweet Harvest Foods has donated honey to the following nonprofit organizations:

  • The Open Door Pantry in Eagan, Minn.
  • Cannon Falls Food Shelf in Cannon Falls, Minn.
  • HOPE 4 Youth in Anoka, Minn.
  • Harry Chapin Food Bank in Fort Myers, Fla.
  • The Salvation Army Service Center in LaBelle, Fla.
  • Central California Food Bank in Fresno, Calif.

“We greatly appreciate the food banks and community organizations that support families and children throughout the year,” said Michael Carle, CEO of Sweet Harvest Foods and President of Nate’s Honey. “As families prepare for a new school year, we’re grateful to make a small impact by helping children and families have access to high-quality honey during such an important time of year.”

This is Sweet Harvest Foods’ third donation of 2026; a donation in June supported children and families facing food insecurity during summer break. These efforts reflect Sweet Harvest Foods’ commitment to supporting the communities where its employees live and work. Through partnerships with local organizations, Sweet Harvest Foods supports programs and services provided by nonprofits who are dedicated to helping communities thrive and ensure families have access to dependable resources throughout the year.
